Abdali Participates in Cityscape Global 2014 Exhibition

Abdali Investment & Development PSC, the master developer of Abdali, the new downtown of Amman, has recently showcased its project at Cityscape Global 2014, the world’s largest regional exhibition and conference on property development. The trade show took place in Dubai from Sept. 21-23rd with the participation of various regional and international investment and real estate companies, businessmen and experts in the real estate sector.

Abdali’s participation presented a key opportunity to network with an elite group of experts in the real estate sector and shed light on the project as one of the most important real estate projects in Jordan and the region.  A comprehensive mixed-use development, Abdali includes several state-of-the-art facilities utilizing the latest technologies with up-to-date sustainable designs complying with the newest advances in the real estate market.

Spanning over 384,000 m2 with a total built up area of more than 1.8 million m2, Abdali features mid- to high-rise buildings, high-end residential towers, modern offices, premium five-star hotels, and luxurious hotel apartments, in addition to a variety of retail outlets and entertainment hotspots with a total cost of $5 billion.

The Abdali project is being constructed over two phases: Phase one lies on 251 thousand m2 and contains 33 separate mid-rise building and tower projects owned and developed by a multitude of local and international investors. These developments include grade-A offices, luxurious apartments, integrated retails markets in addition to first-class hotels and serviced apartment buildings.

The second phase of the project is geared more toward residential developments, but will still have a mixed-use nature and will feature several mid- to high-rise buildings surrounding a 30,000sqm pedestrian landscaped area.

Abdali PSC’s Chief Executive Officer Engineer George Amireh said: “Abdali PSC’s participation in this major event facilitated the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the company’s key personnel and experts in the real estate sector. Our display at Cityscape Global aimed to attract investors, in addition, to boost Abdali PSC’s presence on the regional and international levels during the largest international property exhibitions.” He added, “The new downtown of Amman’s display sparked the interest of many real estate investors and specialists and we were able to boost the project’s positive image in front of all.”

It is worth mentioning that Cityscape Global is considered the largest global exhibition and conference on property and real estate, held annually in several city centers. It was first launched in Dubai in 2002 and has since expanded to feature exhibitions in many cities and countries around the world such as Abu Dhabi, London, Jeddah, Singapore, India, Russia, USA, among others.
